Description

With restricted yields these grapes were carefully selected, resulting in a finely textured wine of exceptional quality. Made in an expressive fruit driven style and stop fermented, the medium residual sweetness is finely balanced with citrus. Sensory Notes Colour: Light straw. Aroma: White peach and orange blossom combine with aromas of dried apricot and nectarine. Hints of flint and honey also come through. Palate: Luscious and fresh with excellent intensity of vibrant peach, citrus an spicy flavours. A hint of sherbet with a full, harmonious and lingering finish. Technical Notes Fermentation: 100% stainless steel Alcohol: 12% Total acidity: 7.6g/l pH: 3.14 Residual sugar: 23.5g/l Harvest dates: 16th April 2015 Bottling dates: July 2016 Cellaring Potential Drinking well now and will develop nicely into 2018. Food Suggestions Excellent as an aperitif and well suited to vibrant salads and fragrant or moderately spiced cuisine
